How to commission a painting?
Want to get an artist to paint a picture but don't know how?
It's easy! ...but there are a few steps to consider first...
- Decide where you want the painting to hang.
- Measure the space to decide how big the painting should be.
- Use newspaper and masking tape to create the size canvas you think you want and put it up in position to get a better idea of scale.
- Do you have images for the artist to work from?
- Is there a colour scheme in the room that can be enhanced by the artwork
- Do you have a budget?
Once these things have been considered, get in touch with the artist, they will then advise you on how their style will fit your brief, their price guides and timescales.
Do you take commissions?
I will consider all commissions, just contact me with your ideas and I can send you a price guideline based on size.
Can paintings be posted?
