There's been a painting on the bench this past week...
There isn't usually time to be painting in the run up to the bank holiday weekend but this year things are a little different so I hear my Dad's words in my ear... ' just keep painting...'
I am aiming for that warm evening glow, the glare of the low sun approaching the horizon and the onset of twilight.
A little sparkle at your feet in the shallows and the wet sand... It's trying to capture a feeling, the warmth, the salty air and the cool water at your feet.
Hopefully I have managed to capture just a little bit of that!
