There's a commission on the bench this last week.
September is always a good month for commissions in the run up to Christmas and after the school summer holidays!
I am working from the customers photo for this one, there's a little artistic license on the composition and placement but I was excited to get started...
The foreground of rocks have amazing bright green seaweed clinging to them and I like the way the eye is drawn in to the paddling figures on the shoreline.
It's just about ready to reveal to the commissees so fingers crossed they'll like it as much as I have enjoyed painting it!
