New painting currently on the easel featuring Lee Bay
Lee is a tiny little bay just up the coast from here, if you stand on the old bridge and look North you will see the much advertised and reproduced Mill House which stands right on the edge of the cove...
Of course I decided to look South for this painting inspiration!
There are dramatic rocks and those iconic fir trees on the headland and those in the know will be thinking of that path between the rocks at low tide to the hidden beach that is Sandy Cove.
The valleys here are deeply wooded and filled with bluebells and wild garlic in the spring, the lanes are narrow and crowded with wild flowers and ferns...and there's a great traditional pub!
I am also planning to crop this piece into a new poster style design to add to my growing collection of local places...check out the current range here!
